Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) is the largest and oldest charity funding research on ovarian cancer. OCRF’s Super Saturday is a day-long fundraising event for the entire family.  The event features a large sale of top designer items discounted from 30-50% off of the retail price, and boasts on-site experiences like massages, hair blow-outs, and manicures, children’s activities and includes food and drink throughout this exciting day in support of OCRF’s mission.

With our NY Super Saturday celebrating its 18th year next July, and plans underway for our 2nd Los Angeles Super Saturday in May, OCRF is proud of the awareness and crucial funding for research that this event has raised thanks to the generous support of our donors, sponsors and the fashion community through our world-famous “designer garage sale.”

HISTORY

The first Super Saturday in New York was held in 1998 when fashion designer Donna Karan joined with OCRF’s President (and Editor-In-Chief of Harper’s Bazaar), the late Liz Tilberis. The event, which took place in 1998, raised $200,000 —with the most recent Super Saturdays raising over $4 million for our vital research programs.

WHAT IS SUPER SATURDAY?

On both coasts, Super Saturday brings top luxury name brands in high fashion, accessories, beauty products, children’s clothing, and home goods at 30-50% off retail to guests with a passion for charity, fashion and bargains.

Over 2,000 people attend each Super Saturday–guests include supporters and their families, designers, celebrities, editors, media, and fashion lovers. The NY event is hosted by Kelly Ripa and Donna Karan, and sponsored by QVC while the inaugural LA event was hosted by Rachel Zoe and Molly Sims.  In NY, QVC broadcasts live from the fairgrounds (QVC Presents Super Saturday LIVE!), with an on-air sale to benefit OCRF.

Need a break from amazing shopping? Grab a bite and a drink and enjoy activities with the kids or take a break with a spa treatment at one of our experience tents. Food and refreshments are available throughout the day and are included in  the ticket price.

All proceeds from sales of merchandise, tickets and tables go toward funding OCRF’s programs, including vital ovarian cancer research by the nation’s top scientists as they seek to end this terrible disease.

Join us on either coast to show your support and help in our quest to end ovarian cancer!
